the nepal impact marathon
The Nepal Impact Marathon is organised by the Impact Marathon Series. Street Child are the official charity partner of the marathon.
The Nepal International Marathon was founded by the awesome Impact Marathon Series (IMS) team whose vision is to empower both runners and the communities that runners support.
“As an Impact Runner you will you not only run for but also run beside these same people as the community joins you to celebrate the power of running to unite, heal and build.” - Nick Kershaw: Impact Marathon Series C.E.O and founder.
Impact Marathon Series have founded marathons in three countries across the world, working with a number of local charity partners to support community projects in each of their marathon destinations.
In Nepal, the marathon will support Water and Sanitation Hygiene, gender equality and quality education projects - three areas which Street Child’s work in Nepal focuses heavily on.
Borne out of a friendship between IMS’ founder and Street Child’s Running Team, Street Child have become Impact’s only official charity partner in Nepal. We are immensely proud of last year’s inaugural race and we’re looking forward to cementing and building upon the partnership with IMS to create a legacy of change (and running!) in Nepal.
